Quotes and booking

Quotations are based on the information and photographs supplied and may be adjusted if the vehicle’s size, condition, contamination or access differs materially on arrival. The quotation validity period and booking confirmation method must be stated when the quote is issued. A booking is confirmed only when CRDetailingUK has agreed the service, price, location, access requirements and date with the customer.

Deposits and payment

Any deposit requirement, accepted payment methods and payment timing must be communicated before confirmation. Deposits and any deductions will be handled consistently with UK consumer law. The owner must confirm the final deposit, invoice and late-payment policy before launch.

Cancellation and rescheduling

The cancellation and rescheduling period must be provided before booking. Where a customer cancels, any charge or retained deposit must reflect the agreed terms and applicable consumer rights. CRDetailingUK may need to reschedule because of unsafe weather, illness, equipment failure or another event outside reasonable control and will communicate directly when this occurs.

Access and weather

The customer must provide permission to work at the location, adequate safe space and any water or electricity agreed for the service. Work may be paused, changed or rescheduled where weather, traffic, ground conditions, public access or another hazard makes the work unsafe or likely to compromise the result.

Vehicle condition

Known defects, repairs, loose trim, electrical faults, leaks, sensitive aftermarket components and other relevant conditions should be disclosed before work. CRDetailingUK may record pre-existing damage. The quotation may change if concealed or unexpected conditions significantly increase the required work.

Results and limitations

Results depend on age, material, prior damage and existing condition. No promise is made that every scratch, swirl, stain or odour can be removed. Paint preservation takes priority over aggressive defect removal. Ceramic protection is not scratch-proof, stone-chip-proof, permanent or maintenance-free.

Customer responsibilities

The customer must have authority to request work on the vehicle and provide keys or access as agreed. Personal belongings, valuables and removable child seats should be taken out before the appointment unless another arrangement is agreed. Child seats will not be removed or refitted as standard.

Images and belongings

Vehicle-condition photographs may be taken for operational records. Promotional use must follow the privacy policy and any agreed permission. CRDetailingUK is not responsible for undisclosed fragile or valuable items left loose in the vehicle where reasonable care has been taken, but this does not exclude liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

Refusal and complaints

Work may be refused or stopped where contamination, unsafe conditions, abuse, lack of permission or undisclosed risk makes the service unreasonable. Hazardous contamination, mould, bodily fluids or severe pest activity is not included as standard. Concerns should be raised promptly with photographs and a clear description so they can be assessed and a reasonable remedy considered.

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights and remedies provided by consumer law. Any limitation must be fair, transparent and proportionate to the service. The customer’s statutory rights are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts that have lawful jurisdiction. Customers may also have access to other dispute-resolution rights. Qualified UK legal review is recommended before these terms are published as final.
